Behind the scenes of the transition
In 2016 President Trump met with many of the nominees at his Bedminister Club where he posed for pictures as they came in and out. This time around he is not as public chasing to issue statements on his Truth Social platform. I was looking through some of the never before scene photos from 2016 and thought I’d share some (I also have some on my instagram follow here).
A few more are behind the paywall below!

Trump isn’t doing ANY MORE rallies…
But over the past few years, a production team and I went inside the rallies and talked to the group of people who went to ALL of the rallies: The Front Row Joes.

Let’s talk about the nominee’s “qualifications”
Much has been made of the “qualifications” of some of the Trump nominations. I question though whether it is really about qualifications or rather personality and their commitment to shake up the establishment that so many in the Washington establishment depend on.
Many folks on Capitol Hill were surprised by President Trump’s nomination of Pete Hegseth as Secretary of Defense and openly questioned whether he could be confirmed. Let’s look at Pete’s background - Princeton graduate, leader of the veterans group Concerned Veterans for America, Army officer with deployments at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, Iraq and Afghanistan and the recipient of two Bronzer Stars. Sounds pretty qualified to me.
All of this got me thinking about the “qualifications” of Biden cabinet. I wrote an entire chapter on the Biden cabinet in my book Radical Nation. Lets take a look at a few.
Denis McDonough is the Secretary of Veterans Affairs. He never served in the military. He has never been part of a Veterans Service Organization. He has no background in the two largest functions of the VA - securing loans and health care. Hmmm…..what exactly are his qualifications? Oh yeah, he was Obama’s chief of staff. Qualified?
